Child Safety Standards
Published Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE & CSAM
PartyPal (accessible at partypal.tv and via the PartyPal mobile and TV applications including Android package tv.partypal.android) maintains a strict, uncompromising zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to any content, conduct, or interaction that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers anyone under the age of 18. This includes, without limitation, creating, uploading, storing, sharing, streaming, or soliciting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming or enticing minors, sextortion, sexualization of minors, child sex trafficking, or any other predatory or abusive behavior involving children.
2. Prohibited Content & Conduct
Users of PartyPal across all web, mobile, and TV platforms are strictly prohibited from using our services to upload, transmit, post, comment, or link to any material that involves or promotes:
- Any visual depiction (photos, videos, animations, AI-generated imagery, or digital media) of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or child sexual exploitation.
- The sexualization, objectification, or inappropriate depiction of minors in any party album, photo stream, text post, or comment.
- Online grooming, solicitation, harassment, sextortion, or any attempt to establish inappropriate contact with a minor.
- Sharing external links, party codes, or invitations intended to distribute, facilitate, or promote CSAE or CSAM.
- Any violation of applicable local, national, or international child protection and child safety laws.
3. Prevention, Automated Detection & Moderation
PartyPal employs multiple layers of technical and human safeguards to prevent, detect, and remove harmful or exploitative content before and after it reaches any event gallery:
- Automated AI Safety Scanning: Uploaded images and video frames are automatically evaluated by our automated content moderation pipeline to detect and block explicit, abusive, or unsafe media.
- Private Access Controls & Host Pre-Approval: Parties are unlisted by default and support entry passcodes, invite-only access, and a Host Review & Approval Queue so event hosts can screen every submission before it appears in a gallery or on a TV screen.
- Active Moderation & Review: Flagged uploads and user reports are prioritized for review and immediate removal by both party hosts and PartyPal platform administrators.
4. In-App Reporting & User Feedback Mechanism
PartyPal provides built-in reporting tools directly inside our mobile apps (Android and iOS) and web platform so any user or guest can flag unsafe content or behavior in real time:
- In-App Content Reporting: On any photo, video, GIF, or text post in a party gallery or carousel, tap or click the item's Options / Menu button and select Report to flag the item and provide an optional reason.
- Immediate Action Upon Report: Reported items are immediately hidden from the reporting user's view, logged in the moderation review queue, and escalated for administrative inspection.
- Direct Safety Escalation: Users, parents, guardians, and members of the public can also report any suspected CSAE concern or policy violation directly to our safety team via email at [email protected], even without a PartyPal account.
5. Enforcement & Mandatory Reporting to NCMEC and Law Enforcement
When PartyPal becomes aware of any suspected or confirmed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform, we take immediate and decisive action in accordance with applicable laws and Google Play Child Safety Standards:
- Immediate Content Removal: Any confirmed or suspected CSAM or CSAE material is immediately removed and blocked from public and private access across all servers and galleries.
- Permanent Account & Device Termination: Any user account, guest session, or party associated with uploading, sharing, or soliciting CSAM/CSAE is immediately and permanently banned.
- Mandatory Reporting to NCMEC: In compliance with U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and international child safety laws, PartyPal reports apparent incidents of CSAM/CSAE to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline (https://report.cybertip.org / 1-800-843-5678) and cooperates fully with local, national, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Evidence Preservation: We preserve associated account records, upload metadata, and server logs as required by law to assist law enforcement investigations.
